We are actively working with University College London to develop a fully circular doorstop collecting and composting service for the UK as recommended by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in their published report on tackling diaper waste.

Mama Bamboo has calculated and reported on gross emissions through the Climate Essentials platform since 2022.
We completed a detailed Lifecycle Assessment with the University College London to calculate the carbon footprint of our products from forest to bottom and beyond based on the most likely end of life scenarios.
We use this calculation to offset 110% residual business and product emissions through the ONCRA-approved Bamboo Village Scheme; planting bamboo is deforested areas of Uganda.
