Mama Bamboo's OEKO-TEX certification label

We are excited to announce that we are now officially OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified! This means that our products have been rigorously tested and found to be free of harmful substances and that we engage in sustainable textile production methods. We are proud to be able to offer you safe and sustainable products that you can feel good about using.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is an independent testing and certification system and is one of the most respected certifications in the world. OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is based on the latest scientific research and is constantly updated to ensure that it is effective in protecting human health and the environment.

To be certified under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, our products must pass a series of rigorous tests that cover a wide range of harmful substances and our business practices and manufacturing must be audited to ensure no harmful chemicals are used in production or are expelled into the waterways, soil or air.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification is important to us for several reasons:

  • It helps to protect human health by ensuring that textile products are free from harmful substances. Textiles can contain a variety of harmful substances, such as formaldehyde, lead, and pesticides. These substances can cause a variety of health problems, including skin irritation, allergies, and even cancer. OEKO-TEX testing helps to identify and eliminate these harmful substances from textiles.
  • It helps to protect the environment by encouraging sustainable textile production methods. The production of textiles can have a significant impact on the environment. OEKO-TEX standards require that textiles are produced in an environmentally responsible manner. This helps to reduce the use of harmful chemicals and water, and it helps to conserve energy.
  • It gives you peace of mind by providing you with a clear, simple way to identify safe textile products for your baby. You know that our products have been tested and found to be safe.

We are committed to developing healthy, safe products for your baby and practising sustainability in all of our business activities.

We use natural, sustainable materials whenever possible, to ensure you are not putting unnecessary chemicals or plastics against your baby's skin, and we are constantly working to reduce our environmental impact.

We believe that OEKO-TEX certification is an important part of our journey to sustainability.

Everyone deserves to have access to safe and sustainable products, and babies even more so. Babies are especially vulnerable to harmful chemicals, as their little bodies and delicate skin is still developing. We are committed to providing you with safe, sustainable, high-quality products which you can trust.

Thank you for choosing us!
