Mama Bamboo’s Founder Set to Debate the Circular Economy at the Upcoming B-Corp Festival

Mama Bamboo Founder and CEO Laura Crawford is taking her place on a panel for the B-Corp ‘Louder than Words Festival’ in Oxford on 10th – 11th September. The festival is the largest-ever gathering of B Corps and aims to ‘harness the power of people using business as a force for good’.

Laura will be debating ‘How designing a circular economy can transform the baby hygiene sector’ with Guy Schanschieff, CEO of Bambino Mio.

Continuing a core mission for Mama Bamboo, the session will raise awareness of the problems caused by plastic standard nappies and highlight the alternatives which can reduce the impact on the environment.

In the debate, the respective leaders in their field, will go beyond the standard discussion about landfill, the speakers debate the issues from initial design and materials, right through to end of life and downstream impacts, and envision a circularity future outside the current constraints of policy and government.

When: 15.30 – 16.30pm Wednesday 11th September

Where: Oxford Town Hall Council Chamber
