Mama Bamboo Launches Free Pregnancy Guides to Support Parents from the Very Beginning

As Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week draws to a close and we reflect on the emotional highs, lows and often‑unspoken pressures of pregnancy and early parenthood, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new series of free downloadable pregnancy and early‑parenthood guides designed to offer clarity, reassurance and practical support to families.

The new guide series spans every stage of the journey, from the first positive test through to weaning, potty training and all the messy, joyful and challenging moments in between. With NHS‑aligned advice, simple checklists and a focus on cutting through the noise of the baby‑product world, the guides aim to help parents feel more confident and less overwhelmed as they navigate early parenthood.

The launch comes at a time when UK families are increasingly seeking trusted, accessible and environmentally responsible resources — and when conversations around parental wellbeing are more important than ever. While Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week has just drawn to a close, the themes it raises continue to remind us how vital it is to support parents not only emotionally, but practically too. Laura Crawford, Mama Bamboo Founder and CEO commented on the launch;

“We know that pregnancy and early parenthood can feel like an information overload, that mental load can be heavy, especially in those early months. Our goal is to cut through the noise and provide genuinely useful, honest guidance — helping parents understand what really matters when it comes to their baby’s first essentials and their early experiences. We hope these guides help us connect with parents earlier in their journey and build lasting relationships based on trust, transparency and shared values around sustainability.”

The guide series also includes expert‑led contributions from Mama Bamboo’s charity partners and specialists:

  • The Ickle Pickles Children’s Charity, offering guidance for families experiencing neonatal care — a time that can be emotionally and mentally overwhelming.
  • MANtenatal, the digital platform supporting dads, providing practical and emotional guidance to help fathers feel prepared and confident in those early days.

With sustainability at its core, Mama Bamboo hopes to inspire a new generation of parents to make thoughtful choices that support both their baby’s wellbeing and the planet. By combining expert‑backed advice with a commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility.

The full guide series is available to download for free — offering parents not just information, but reassurance, clarity and support long after the awareness weeks have passed.
